The third Recipient for academic year 2022-2023 is Sayjah Davis.
Sayjah Davis is an aspiring Music Education major at Sam Houston State University. Sayjah went to Shadow Creek High School in Alvin ISD, and is now a senior at SHSU. She is a trombone player with dreams of becoming a band director. While at SHSU she has participated in Symphonic Band, the SHSU Wind Ensemble, Trombone Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz, and the Bearkat Marching Band. Her goal after college is to ensure that she fosters a love for music within her future students.
